Decorated with stained glass windows that illustrate the life of Christ and Albanian Catholic martyrs, the Cathedral of Mother Teresa Neo-Romantic in style was designed by Rome-based architect Livio Sterlicchio. Initially, the plan was to build two campanilas; currently it has only one which is used as a mirador from which visitors can view the entire city of Pristina. The cathedral honors the life of Mother Teresa and was consecrated on her hundredth birthday August 26, 2010.
