“Archives as Unspoken Stories,” the second interdisciplinary seminar dedicated to the Western Balkan cultural scene, held this past weekend on May 24 & 25 at Kino Armata in Pristina, Kosovo. This event, co-organized by the Oral History Initiative (OHI), Art Explora, the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts de Paris-Cergy, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Skopje (MoCA), delved into the potent role of archives as political tools to address the gaps in documentation, literature, and art writing.
Over two days, participants engaged in discussions, screenings, round tables, performances, workshops, city walks, and a book fair, all contributing to a deeper understanding of the subject. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our co-organizers and all attendees for making this seminar a memorable and impactful experience.
The seminar is funded by Creative Europe.
