The konak of the Kocadiş family is a good example of the type of house inhabited by the Ottoman merchant families. It has all the elements of classical Ottoman mansions with its wooden skeleton, porch and delicately crafted ornamentation. The house dates back to the 19th century and today hosts the Kosovo Institute for the Protection of Monuments.
