The synagogue in Pristina, known as the Havra Synagogue, was built in the 19th century and was located in the southwest of the Çarshi. The synagogue was used by the Jewish community for the Saturday rituals known as Shabbat. The Jews that lived in Pristina were owners of many shops, their houses were along the Divan Yoli Street, the present-day UÇK Street. In 1960, the stone house was placed in the yard of Eminicik housing complex, and it is one of the last buildings left from Old Bazaar. In order to preserve the authentic appearance of the Synagogue, it is said that every stone of the building had a number that guided the reconstruction of the house at the Eminicik yard. Today the stone house is under the administration of Museum of Kosovo and it hosts Stacion Center for Contemporary Art.
