In 1889, the Kingdom of Serbia established several representative offices within the Ottoman Empire in Europe, including Pristina. The consulate building represented the Serbian Kingdom in the Vilajet of Kosovo, at the time an Ottoman administrative territory. It is almost entirely collapsed today and served the Kingdom until the 1913 when the Ottoman Empire withdrew from the Balkans.
