Back in September 2016, Kaltrina Krasniqi, one of the founders of Oral History Initiative, gave an interview for Alhemija Balkana, episode 3, Al Jazeera Balkans. Kaltrina spoke about the Oral History Initiative in Kosovo, the difficulty to narrate the experience of the Second World War, and also about women’s position in Kosovo vis-à-vis marriage. To quote the interviewer Goran Milić, “I admit, she defeated me with her rhetoric, I felt so old-fashioned, conservative, but she was not the only one in Kosovo.”
