Mezuniyetinin ard\u0131ndan Trep\u00e7a\u2019n\u0131n Strantrg madeninde m\u00fchendis olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131. 1975 y\u0131l\u0131nda Mitrovi\u00e7a \u00dcniversitesi Maden M\u00fchendisli\u011fi B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fc\u2019nde kadrolu profes\u00f6r olarak \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Bu kurumda kendisi iki d\u00f6nem boyunca dekanl\u0131k g\u00f6revini de \u00fcstlendi. 1981 ve 1983 y\u0131llar\u0131 aras\u0131nda Pri\u015ftine \u00dcniversitesi\u2019nde rekt\u00f6rl\u00fck yapt\u0131.
