Pas themelimit t\u00eb Lidhjes Demokratike t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, Ilaz Pireva \u00ebsht\u00eb zgjedhur kryetar i deg\u00ebs n\u00eb Podujev\u00eb n\u00eb dy mandate. N\u00eb zgjedhjet parlametare p\u00ebr Kuvendin e Kosov\u00ebs, \u00ebsht\u00eb zgjedhur dy her\u00eb, p\u00ebr mandatet 2001-2007. N\u00eb vitin 2007, \u00ebsht\u00eb zgjedhur kryetar komun\u00ebs s\u00eb Podujev\u00ebs. Ka qen\u00eb pjes\u00eb e kabinetit t\u00eb Kryetarit t\u00eb Kosov\u00ebs, Fatmir Sejdiut, ku ka sh\u00ebrben si k\u00ebshilltar politik p\u00ebr pushtet lokal.
